In addition to solid instrumental technique, I will help you develop creative problem-solving abilities, musicality and expression, critical listening skills, stage presence, and confidence. Studying an instrument is a wholistic process!
In addition to teaching harp, I also teach composition and music theory, and all these perspectives (of performer, composer, and analyst) inform my teaching.
Trained in the Suzuki method, I will tailor my instruction to your goals, and I have experience teaching all ages. Before our first lesson, I will meet with you and/or your family to learn about your interests and develop specific objectives.
I teach out of my home studio in Inver Grove Heights, Minnesota.
Please contact me for pricing.
If your family is on federal or state assistance and/or your child meets income guidelines for the USDA Free and Reduced Lunch Program, please ask me about reduced pricing.
Payment is due for the month on the first lesson of the month (I will send an invoice in advance).
If you cannot make your lesson time:
If you notify me 48 hours in advance of the lesson, I will do my best to reschedule your lesson. If I receive less than 48 hours of notice, I can only accept cancellations (except in the event of family emergency or illness, in which case I will still reschedule). In the unusual event that I cannot make your lesson time, I will either reschedule or refund you as you prefer.
